Item Highlights

Broccoli Rabe

Broccoli rabe, also known as rapini, is a bold, flavorful green that brings a slightly bitter bite to a variety of dishes. Though it resembles traditional broccoli, it’s actually more closely related to turnips, which becomes apparent with its unique, peppery taste. Popular in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, broccoli rabe has been a staple in kitchens for centuries, loved for its robust flavor and versatility. Blanched, sautéed, or roasted, broccoli rabe pairs beautifully with garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes. Its bitterness mellows when cooked, also making it a perfect complement to rich pasta dishes, roasted meats, or creamy cheeses.

Andy Boy is the flagship label of D’Arrigo Bros. Co. of California, a family-run farm that has been growing produce in the Salinas Valley since 1923. Founded by Stefano and Andrea D’Arrigo, the company is credited with introducing broccoli rabe to the United States and continues to be its largest grower. Their farming practices emphasize sustainability and innovation, with careful attention to soil health and water conservation. Generations of experience and dedication to quality have made Andy Boy a trusted name for fresh, flavorful vegetables, with broccoli rabe remaining one of their most iconic crops.

Ubriaco di Raboso

Casearia Carpenedo is an Italian creamery renowned for its innovation in “drunken” cheeses, a tradition they helped pioneer by aging wheels in wine, spirits, and other aromatic infusions. Founded by Antonio Carpenedo, the creamery continues to push boundaries while staying rooted in artisanal methods and high-quality milk. Their Ubriaco di Raboso is a cow’s milk variety bathed in Raboso grape must of the Treviso region, allowing the rind to absorb the color and the cheese to absorb the character during the aging process. The paste is firm yet creamy, having a distinctly fruity taste with a spicy finish. Its striking purple rind and complexity make it a memorable addition to a cheese spread and a beautiful pairing with a Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, or even an IPA.

Capriole O’Banon

Capriole, a family-owned farm in southern Indiana, has been producing exceptional goat cheeses for over 30 years, emphasizing sustainable farming practices and artisanal craftsmanship. Their O’Banon cheese is a standout, crafted from the milk of their small herd of goats. This soft-ripened cheese is wrapped in aromatic, bourbon-soaked chestnut leaves, which infuse it with a delicate herbal flavor, while the creamy interior offers a smooth, tangy richness. The combination of the chestnut leaves and the tart goat milk creates a complex flavor profile that is earthy, fresh, and unlike any other!

Marshall’s Haute Sauce Habanero Carrot Curry

Marshall’s Haute Sauce is a small-batch hot sauce company based in Portland, Oregon, known for crafting bold sauces with exciting flavor combinations. Founded by Sarah and Dirk Marshall, the company emphasizes creativity, quality, and integrity; their fresh ingredients are always sourced from small farms across Oregon and Washington. Their Habanero Carrot Curry blends fiery habaneros with the natural sweetness of carrots and warm curry spices. The result is a sauce that is both spicy and layered, adding depth without overpowering. It’s excellent drizzled over roasted root vegetables, stirred into soups, or used as a vibrant finishing touch on a burger.

Askinosie 62% Dark Chocolate + Fleur de Sel

Askinosie’s 62% Dark Chocolate + Fleur de Sel is a beautifully balanced bar that pairs single-origin dark chocolate with delicate sea salt. The cacao is sourced directly from farmers in Davao, Philippines, reflecting Askinosie’s commitment to transparent trade and meaningful partnerships with farmers. The chocolate itself is smooth with rich cocoa flavor, enhanced by the bright, clean edge of hand-harvested fleur de sel. It is a delightful example of how just two simple components can create a bar with both depth and nuance.
