Item Highlights

Thomcord Grapes

Thomcord grapes are a hybrid created by the USDA combining Thompson Seedless and Concord varieties. They have thin, blue-purple skin over juicy, seedless flesh, offering an intensely sweet flavor. They have hints of Concord’s classic grape-juice aroma, but mellowed by Thompson’s sweetness. Their texture is firm and slightly chewy, making them excellent for snacking, fresh salads, or even making jam or compote! While only available in this week’s Fruit Add-on, these treats are too special not to highlight. Their season is brief, so try them while you can!

Fromi Comté AOP Affinage d’Excellence

Fromi is a family-owned company that has been curating and distributing specialty cheeses across Europe since 1969, with a strong focus on traditional craftsmanship and exceptional quality. Their partnerships with small producers allow them to bring authentic regional specialties to a wider audience. Their Comté AOP Affinage d’Excellence is crafted from the raw milk of Montbéliarde cows that are fed only grass and hay. It is then sent to Fort Lucotte, Marcel Petite’s ripening center to age for 13 to 18 months to achieve its signature depth of flavor. It carries notes of dried fruits, fresh hazelnut, and curry with an enticing smell of gratin. The extended aging enhances its complexity without overpowering its balance, making it a standout among alpine-style cheeses. Perfect for savoring on its own, it also pairs beautifully with a glass of Chardonnay or a crisp cider.

Gold Creek Farms Hoppy Cheddar

Gold Creek Farms is a family-run creamery based in Woodland, Utah, where they craft small-batch cheeses from the milk of their own herd of Brown Swiss cows. Their focus on quality and sustainability shines through in every wheel they produce. Their Hoppy Cheddar is a playful twist on a classic, infused with hops that lend bright, floral, and slightly bitter notes to the cheese’s rich, sharp base. The hops complement the cheddar’s natural tang, creating a flavor that’s both earthy and refreshing. Pair with a crisp lager, or try it in a grilled cheese!

Bakeology Snickerdoodle Cookies

Bakeology is a mother-daughter owned company based in California, dedicated to creating cookies that are made with simple, recognizable ingredients without compromising flavor. Their mission is to reimagine classic treats with a cleaner, more mindful approach. The Snickerdoodle Cookies capture the warmth of the original, baked with cinnamon, organic coconut oil, and a blend of gluten-free flours. They’re crunchy, lightly sweet, and finished with a dusting of cinnamon sugar that gives them their signature flavor. They’re a great companion to coffee or tea, or perfect for on-the-go snacking.

Ritual Belize 75% Dark Chocolate

Ritual Chocolate is a small-batch, bean-to-bar maker based in Utah, sourcing cacao with an emphasis on transparency and sustainable practices. The Belize 75% Chocolate is made with cacao sourced from the Toledo District, a region celebrated for producing beans with bright, nuanced flavor. This bar has a balanced profile, with fruity, earthy, and nutty flavors, the result of the complex genetic makeup of the growing region.  It’s a reflection of Ritual’s philosophy of letting exceptional cacao speak for itself.
