Item Highlights

Shishito Peppers

Shishito peppers are small, thin-skinned Japanese peppers known for their mild flavor and blistered, tender texture when quickly sautéed or grilled. While most are sweet and mellow, every so often you’ll get one with a surprising kick! Their grassy, slightly smoky taste pairs well with a sprinkle of flaky salt and a squeeze of lemon, making them a simple but satisfying appetizer or side. Shishitos cook fast and need very little dressing up, which makes them a favorite for weeknight cooking and casual snacking.

Anabasque

Fromagerie Jean Perrin is a family-owned creamery in the Jura Massif founded in 1965 by Jean Perrin and his wife. They remain committed to traditional cheesemaking, using raw or carefully pasteurized cow’s milk from local farms, AOP certification, and refining their cheeses in cellars across the Franche-Comté region. Their Morbier AOP is instantly recognizable by its thin horizontal line of ash running through the middle. This was once a preservation method, where evening curds were protected overnight with a layer of ash, and then more curds were added the next day. The flavor starts mild and nutty, with grassy and fruity overtones, and as it ages, the richness deepens while retaining a supple, springy texture. The rind is natural and slightly moist, adding an earthy aroma that enhances its depth. This semi-soft, pungent cheese pairs best with fresh bread and a dollop of dijon mustard.

Appenzeller Black Label

Appenzeller Black Label is a raw cow’s milk cheese from Eastern Switzerland, steeped in centuries of tradition and crafted under strict quality standards. It’s matured for at least six months in damp cellars, repeatedly washed by hand with a secret herbal brine that helps develop its rind and flavor. It offers bold flavors of pasture herbs, ripe fruit, and spice with a sharp, tangy bite that is balanced by rich creaminess. The rind adds earthy complexity and a hint of funk without overwhelming the cheese.

Burlap & Barrel Limestone Rosemary

Burlap & Barrel partners directly with smallholder farmers around the world to source single-origin spices, building transparent supply chains and supporting sustainable agricultural practices. The Limestone Rosemary comes from a cooperative of organic growers in Provence, where plants thrive in mineral-rich limestone soil. This unique growing environment produces rosemary with an especially bright and complex flavor, offering notes of pine, citrus peel, and juniper. Harvested in early summer at peak freshness, the needles are carefully dried to preserve their natural oils and potency. Its balanced character makes it ideal for seasoning roasted meats, vegetables, marinades, and sauces with a depth that rivals fresh rosemary.

Askinosie Davao, Philipines 58% Dark Chocolate + Orange

The story of Askinosie started when Shawn Askinosie quit his successful law practices and suddenly fell in love with making chocolate from scratch. He dumped his entire life savings into starting a US based craft chocolate company and started traveling to remote regions of Ecuador, Tanzania, and the Amazon searching for exotic cocoa beans and small farmers to share the profits with. Today, Askinosie Chocolate is one of the best and most widely recognized specialty chocolates in the US. This bar strikes the perfect balance between rich, smooth dark chocolate and the bright, zesty notes of orange. The citrus flavor is lively yet harmonizes seamlessly with the chocolate’s creamy depth, making it both refreshing and indulgent. Ideal for savoring on its own or pairing with coffee or dessert wines, this bar is a flavorful reflection of Askinosie’s dedication to craftsmanship and innovation.
