Read more about our selection of Organic, Heirloom, Pasture Raised, and fully cooked Smoked Turkeys below.
All Diestel Turkeys are NON-GMO Project Verified, no gluten, casein, carrageenan, phosphates, MSG, artificial ingredients, or preservatives, no added salt solutions and ice-chilled for quality, no antibiotics, growth stimulants, or hormones, are fed 100% Vegetarian Diet, enhanced with vitamins and minerals, and are GAP Rated Step 3 or better.
Organic ($7.69/lb):
These turkeys are humanely raised and fed certified organic feed. They have a clean, delicious, traditional flavor and have never been frozen! Available by whole bird or as bone-in breasts ($11.99/lb). Note that Bone-in Breasts have been previously frozen.
Heirloom ($8.99/lb):
These birds are an old-world breed. They are humanely raised and fed non-GMO certified organic feed. They are not bred for their big breast like most turkeys in the supermarket. They have more dark meat and a robust, extremely flavorful taste, just like your Great-Grandmother used to serve.Â
Pasture-Raised ($10.29/lb):
These birds are humanely raised with the freedom to forage on a holistic family ranch, making it a key part of their regenerative agricultural practices. Turkeys are rotationally grazed so that the ground cover and pastures may regenerate throughout the turkeys’ lifespan. More importantly, that freedom lends these birds a tender, juicy, full-bodied flavor. GAP rated step 5.
Hickory Smoked ($8.89/lb):
This Naturally Smoked Whole Turkey is perfect for anybody who wants the rich, decadent flavor of a smoked turkey in just the time it takes to build a modest fire. These birds are uncured and slow cooked over natural hickory wood, so all you’ve got to do is warm the bird in the oven (and find a distraction to keep you occupied until it’s ready).
