Item Highlights
Red Salanova
Salanova comes in many different varieties, including different colors and textures. Created by a Dutch seed company, Salanova was developed as a “one cut” ready variety increasing farm production and reducing prep time for chefs. It has three times as many leaves as a traditional variety. Salanova contains calcium and fiber, with red varieties also offering antioxidants. This easy-to-eat lettuce is best used for raw applications, layered in sandwiches or burgers and as a base for salads.
Sunny Ridge
Blakesville Creamery’s main goal is to humanely raise healthy goats using sustainable farming practices to produce the highest quality, handmade artisan cheeses. Blakesville started their farmstead creamery, meaning the cheeses are made on the same farm that the animals were raised, in 2020. Since then they have been constantly innovating and curating unique, delicious cheeses with the utmost care and attention on purity, quality, and flavor.
Sunny Ridge is styled after the French cheese St. Nectaire. The cheese is washed with Is/Was Brewing beer for the first few weeks of its life which helps break down the semi-firm paste. Perfectly clean and mild with hints of beautiful goat flavor. Sunny Ridge was recognized by the Good Food Foundation as “exceptionally delicious [and] also supports sustainability and social good.”
Cremeux de Citeaux
This sumptuous French triple cream is a product of the Burgundy region, aged by renowned affineur (one who ages cheese) Rodolphe Le Meunier. This cheese is full-bodied with heavy notes of cream and hints of mushroom and pepper from the well-developed bloomy rind. With a highly spreadable, dense paste, Cremeax des Citeaux is a must have for any celebratory cheese board. Pair with Champagne or Prosecco, juicy fruit or berries.
Vanilla Granola Butter by Oat Haus
Oat Haus produces the world’s first oat-based spreads that are nut free, gluten free, and vegan. Their Vanilla flavor wraps you in the aroma of freshly baked cookies with the rich and silky texture that is a trademark of all their products. Best enjoyed drizzled over pancakes or chia pudding. Also works perfectly for dipping apple slices and dates, or spreading on toast.
