Baby Turnips
Turnips are ancient, one of the oldest cultivated root crops in the world. Also called Tokyo turnips, baby turnips are beautiful, tender little globes with spicy, pleasant-bitter greens attached that can also be enjoyed. Baby turnips are available in the spring and early summer before prolonged heat turns turnips bitter and woody. These spring and early summer turnips have delicate, shiny skins and tender flesh. Cut baby turnips into wedges and enjoy them raw with a dip or shave them into a salad. Pickle them in a sweet and salty brine. Sauté or stir-fry baby turnips with their greens.
Farmdal Young
Farmdal Young is a collaboration between third-generation Belgian affineur – one who ages cheese – Michel Van Tricht and award-winning cheese-making family the Deweers, who are known for their Trappist styles and aged goudas. Farmdal gives you the best of both worlds, all the classic hallmarks of a fine gouda with a softer, more meltable paste. While it still has a traditional note of caramel, Farmdal leans in a more sweet cream and vanilla direction flavor-wise. This cheese will serve you well in fondue, grilled-cheese, with scalloped or mashed potatoes, and in any cheese based soups. Farmdal Young Gouda pairs well with Brut Champagne, lighter reds or white with acidity, brown ales, bocks, or farmhouse ciders.
Perlagrigia
Created in 1980 by cheesemaker Antonio Carpenedo with the intention of revolutionizing the truffle cheese market. Perlagrigia which translates to “grey pearl,” contains small slices of truffle within the curd, and is blanketed in beechwood ash and a mix of herbs and spices. Bold but balanced this is the perfect table cheese but also has beautiful melting quality and can be used fora myriad of other applications.
Erbology Organic Bergamot Juice
Erbology is a leader in plant-based nutrition, with a goal to make healthy, accessible products out of clean, powerful plants. Inspired by their wholesome and delicious childhood summers spent in the Bressarabian countryside of Eastern Europe, sibling team Irina and Victor Turcan to create Erbology. Organic Bergamot Juice is good for cardiovascular health, immunity, and healthy skin – rich in polyphenols and vitamin C. It is also thought to improve cholesterol. Bergamot has a tangy citrus taste akin to an orange or lemon. Take 2-4 tablespoons neat, or add a splash to sparkling water. This also makes a great addition to any summer cocktail.
Hu Hunks Almonds + Sea Salt
HU Chocolate is a family owned company committed to creating the best quality chocolate products with “No weird ingredients.
