Item Highlights

Carnival Squash

Carnival squash is a winter squash variety known for its vibrant, mottled skin, which typically features a mix of green, orange, and yellow hues. A cross between acorn and sweet dumpling squash, it combines the sweet, mild flavor of these varieties with a starchy, tender texture.
Carnival squash is can be roasted, steamed, or pureed, and is commonly used in soups, salads, or as a side dish. Nutritionally, carnival squash is a good source of vitamins A and C, as well as dietary fiber with a shelf life of months if stored properly.

Beer Hops Cheddar

Gold Creek Farms’ Beer Hops Cheddar offers a unique take on traditional cheddar by incorporating the earthy, aromatic qualities of beer hops. Made in Utah, this cheddar is aged to develop its smooth, sharp flavor, which is enhanced by the infusion of hops. The result is a cheese with a distinct, slightly bitter edge with the floral, citrusy notes. This makes it an ideal cheese for pairing with hoppy IPAs or other bold beers.

La Tur

La Tur is a soft-ripened cheese from Italy’s Piedmont region, crafted by Caseificio dell’Alta Langa. This unique cheese is made from a blend of three milks—cow, sheep, and goat—creating a harmonious balance of flavors and textures. Its delicate, wrinkled rind encases a luscious, creamy interior that becomes nearly spreadable at room temperature. The combination of three milks gives La Tur its distinctive taste profile. The cow’s milk contributes to its mild, buttery creaminess, the sheep’s milk adds a slight tang and richness, while the goat’s milk provides a subtle acidity and earthy undertone. La Tur’s aging process is brief, typically around 10 to 15 days, which helps maintain its fresh, vibrant character while allowing the flavors to develop. The aroma is mild but inviting, offering hints of fresh cream and wild herbs. When sliced open, the interior reveals a dense, creamy core surrounded by a softer, more runny outer layer as it ripens, making it a visually appealing choice for cheese boards.

It works well with light, sparkling wines like Prosecco or Champagne, which balance its richness. For a more robust experience, try pairing it with a fruity red wine or a crisp cider. It also pairs beautifully with honey, dried fruits, and nuts, which enhance its natural sweetness and mild tang.

Keeper of the B Honey

Harvested from hives in Utah’s diverse landscapes, this honey captures the unique flavors of the region’s wildflowers, sage, and mountain flora. Keeper of the B is dedicated to ensuring the health of their bees and the environment, practicing mindful, small-scale beekeeping to produce high-quality honey. Raw and unfiltered, Keeper of the B Honey retains all of its natural enzymes, antioxidants, and nutrients. It is extracted with minimal processing, ensuring that it maintains its pure, rich flavor and thick, creamy texture. The honey’s taste varies throughout the year depending on the flowers in bloom, with notes of desert flora, lavender, and clover often coming through. Drizzle over fresh fruit, mix into salad dressings, or pair with aged gouda or chèvre.

Blanxart Milk Chocolate w/ White Hazelnuts

Blanxart, founded in 1954 in Barcelona, is known for its meticulous, bean-to-bar approach. They carefully select cocoa beans from small-scale farms to ensure that every step of the chocolate-making process honors traditional methods and sustainability. Blanxart’s Milk Chocolate with White Hazelnuts offers a rich combination of creamy chocolate and whole, roasted hazelnuts. White hazelnuts, known for their delicate taste and light color, are lightly roasted, enhancing their natural sweetness and adding a satisfying crunch to every bite.
