Item Highlights

Castelfranco Radicchio

Castelfranco radicchio, also known as Variegata di Castelfranco. is a striking and delicate Italian chicory known for its pale green leaves delicately streaked with burgundy. With a mildly bitter edge and a subtly nutty undertone, its flavor is gentler and more refined compared to other radicchio varieties, making it equally enjoyable raw in salads or lightly grilled. Originally cultivated in the Veneto region, Castelfranco radicchio thrives in cool weather, which helps develop its signature color and flavor profile. It’s a wonderful match for rich ingredients like goat cheese or creamy dressings. This radicchio brings both beauty and balance to the table!

Mimolette

Isigny Sainte-Mère’s Mimolette is crafted with a rich heritage and expertise rooted in the lush dairy farms of Normandy, France. For over a century, this cooperative has perfected traditional French cheesemaking, blending high-quality Normandy cow’s milk with expert aging techniques to create exceptional cheeses. The mimolette’s bright orange hue and round, cantaloupe-like rind give it a unique, rustic appearance. Mimolette brings a distinctively nutty, caramelized flavor that deepens with age, balanced by a slightly crumbly, dense texture. Inspired by Dutch Edam, but distinctly French, this cheese ages in special cellars where cheese mites naturally form on the rind, contributing to its earthy character and enhancing its complex flavors. A true standout on a cheese board, mimolette pairs well with dried apricots, toasted hazelnuts, and a glass of full-bodied red wine.

Bûche de Lucay

For over 60 years, family-run French dairy Fromagerie P.Jacquin & Fils has been making traditional goat’s milk cheeses, beautifully exemplifying the style that the southern Tours region is famous for. Bûche de Lucay is a soft-ripened goat milk cheese, shaped like a small log and covered in a delicate, natural rind. Fresh, salted curds are covered with Penicillium Candidum and ripened in humid rooms to encourage the molds to form a velvety white coat. It has a creamy, dense interior that becomes more spreadable and flavorful as it matures. The taste is rich and creamy with the classic goat milk tang. It’s a beautiful addition to any cheese plate; try it served with blueberry jam, a drizzle of honey, and a Sauvignon Blanc.

AviSaine Rose Water

AviSaine is a family-owned producer in Lebanon celebrated for their bold flavored goods, all crafted using time-honored methods that capture the essence of the region. Their Rose Water is distilled from rose petals, resulting in a wonderfully floral and fragrant ingredient beloved in Middle Eastern cuisine. The flavor is bright and subtly sweet, making it a lovely addition to pastries, cookies, or stirred into tonics and cocktails for aromatic lift. Its gentle fragrance and delicate taste also make it a versatile ingredient in both culinary and wellness applications.

Chocolat Moderne Blood Orange Bergamot

Chocolat Moderne’s Blood Orange Bergamot bar is a refined blend of sophisticated flavors and visual allure. The dark chocolate shell encases a smooth caramel center made with fresh blood orange juice, all scented gently with bergamot oil for an exciting lift. The surface is speckled with naturally colored white and orange cocoa butter, giving it an elegant, artful appearance that reflects the brand’s creative spirit. Chocolat Moderne, founded in New York by Joan Coukos in 2003, is celebrated for its visually stunning sweets and imaginative flavor pairings that introduce unexpected ingredients to chocolate-making. The Blood Orange Bergamot bar, a recipient of the 2013 SOFI Gold Award for Outstanding Chocolate, captures this mission beautifully. Its bright citrus notes and fragrant softness make for a truly unique eating experience!
