Item Highlights
French Breakfast Radishes
Coke Farm, a pioneer of organic farming in California since the 1980s, grows a wide range of produce with a commitment to soil health and sustainable practices. French Breakfast Radishes are a beloved heirloom variety known for their slender, oblong shape and striking pink-and-white coloring. Unlike round red radishes, these have a milder peppery bite with a touch of sweetness that makes them easy to enjoy raw! They are crisp and juicy, perfect when sliced into salads, layered on toast with butter and salt, or simply eaten whole as a refreshing snack. Their gentle flavor and tender texture also make them well-suited for quick pickling or roasting, where their natural sweetness is enhanced.
Tulip Tree Creamery Hops Cheese
Tulip Tree Creamery, based in Indianapolis, is known for crafting small-batch cheeses with creativity, often highlighting local flavors and unexpected ingredients. Their focus on artisan production and quality milk has earned them international recognition, having earned both American Cheese Awards and World Cheese Awards. Hops is one of their most inventive cheeses. Each batch is infused with a different beer, allowing the cheese to take on unique characteristics with every release. This gives the cheese a distinctive aroma reminiscent of a freshly poured craft beer, with bright, floral, and citrusy notes layered over a creamy, tangy base. The hops bring out a slight bitterness that contrasts with the richness of the cheese, making it an amazing choice for pairing with your favorite brew.
Moliterno al Tartufo (Black Truffle Pecorino)
Central Formaggi, based in Sardinia, has been producing high-quality cheeses for four generations, focusing on honoring traditional Italian methods while also innovating with unique flavor pairings. Their dedication has made them a respected name in both Italy and abroad. Moliterno al Tartufo is one of their most celebrated creations, made from rich sheep’s milk and aged 4-6 months to develop a firm, slightly crumbly texture. Halfway through the aging process, black truffle paste is carefully infused into the wheel, creating striking dark veins that run through the cheese. The flavor is robust, with the natural tang of the pecorino balanced by the deep, earthy aroma of truffles. With notes of garlic and olive oil, it’s a natural pick to be shaved over fresh pasta.
Katz Honey Vinegar
Katz Farm in California is celebrated for its attention to detail and sustainable practices, producing vinegars and olive oils that reflect both craftsmanship and respect for the land. Their products are small-batch and carefully aged, resulting in nuanced flavors that have won several Good Food Awards. Their Honey Vinegar is made with Katz Black Button Sage Honey that is combined with varietal wines and slowly fermented in oak barrels, creating a delicate balance of sweet and tart. It has a beautiful golden hue with notes of peach, apricot, and vanilla. It is excellent in brightening vinaigrettes, marinades, and pan sauces without overwhelming other ingredients.Â
Amano Raspbery Rose 55%
Amano Artisan Chocolate is a family-run company based out of Orem, Utah. Their Raspberry Rose Dark Chocolate is a beautifully balanced bar that combines rich dark chocolate made with Ecuadorian beans with the bright tartness of raspberries and a gentle hint of rose. The fruit is vibrant but not overpowering, and the small bits of sugar crystals throughout bring an exciting crunch. Like all of Amano’s bars, it’s crafted in small batches using ethically sourced cocoa and meticulous technique.
