Item Highlights

Glohaven Peaches

Glohaven Peaches are world renowned for their “always sweet and juicy” taste. A wonderful dessert peach that’s resistant to browning. Their vigorous, productive trees have hardy buds and they have beautiful mottled red skin. These peaches have a flavorful yellow flesh and is excellent for canning because of its fuzzless and non-browning nature. Glohavens are also perfect for grilling, candying, or as a perfect summer snack. An absolute favorite among LHF staff.

Brie de Meaux

Brie de Meaux, named after the town of Meaux, is a French cheese produced in the region of Brie, located 50 kilometres to the east of Paris. Evidence in the chronicles of Charlemagne suggests the tasting of Brie by the Emperor in the year 774. This is a soft, unpasteurised cow’s milk cheese covered with a bloomy rind resulting from inoculation with Penicillium Candidum moulds. As the cheese ages, the rind develops red or brown patches. When nearly half of the straw-coloured pate becomes soft, it indicates Brie de Meaux is ready for consumption.

Ameribella

Ameribella is a semi-soft, washed rind cheese, inspired by the cheeses of Northern Italy, with a salty, savory and mildly lactic flavor. It is a pale creamy yellow colored cheese, with a soft cream to orange brown rind. It maintains a distinctly earthy aroma, reminiscent of bread dough proofing. Slightly salty, savory and mildly lactic, the flavor sweetens with age while the body grows smooth and silky. Pair with tart berry jam and your favorite cracker.

Temaki Nori by Motoi Nori

This wonderful nori was grown in the Ariake Sea, known in Japan for producing the highest quality nori. It is then roasted by Motoi Nori, who is known for their expertise in sourcing and roasting. It has a wonderful crispy texture and superb sea flavor that finishes with a nice, deep toasted tea/rice flavor. For optimal flavor and texture, consume as quickly as possible once opened, preferably at one meal.
