Purple Daikon
Purple daikon is a colorful variety of white daikon with purple skin and white flesh. Like the white variety, it has a refreshing crunch and a peppery bite that is much milder than that of smaller radishes. The purple variety, however, is even sweeter than the white! Its sharpness makes it perfect for salads, slaws, or sliced alongside dips. It’s also widely used in Asian cuisines, where it can be pickled, simmered in soups, etc.
Goat Rodeo Pure Luck Goat Cheddar
Pure Luck goat cheddar is a brand-new addition to our cheese case! Pure Luck is a traditional farmhouse cheddar made from all goat’s milk. It’s buttery and sweet with grassy notes and a tangy finish with the pure characteristics of goat’s milk. Goat Rodeo Farm & Dairy is a 130 acre family owned farm dedicated to creating delicious products and preserving Pennsylvania farmland one wheel of cheese at a time!
Fromagerie Delin Brillat Savarin Affine
Fromagerie Delin is a renowned family-owned cheese producer in Burgundy, France, specializing in traditional, soft-ripened, triple-cream cheeses using rich, local milk. Brillat Savarin Affine is a decadent triple cream made with pasteurized cow’s milk. It’s unbelievably rich and silky, even more so as it ages. It has a buttery flavor with tangy notes of cultured cream, mushrooms, and fresh milk. It’s beautiful on its own with crackers, but also pairs wonderfully with berries and raw honey.
La Vecchia Dispensa Organic Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP
La Vecchia Dispensa is a historic balsamic producer in Castelvetro di Modena, Italy, where the family has been making vinegar for more than four generations. They use carefully sourced Italian grapes and slowly age them in wooden barrels to create balsamics that honor the region’s culinary heritage. Their “Ivory Label” Organic Balsamic is made using cooked grape must blended with aged wine vinegar. It’s perfectly balanced between sweet and sour with intense fruity notes of fresh must and red fruit. This makes for the perfect everyday balsamic, excellent on roasted vegetables, in dressings and marinades, and even drizzled over scrambled eggs!
Askinosie San Jose Del Tambo, Ecuador, 70% Dark Chocolate
Askinosie Chocolate is a small batch bean-to-bar maker based in Springfield, Missouri. They’re known for working directly with cacao farmers across Ecuador, Tanzania, Honduras, and the Philippines, building long-term relationships and sharing the profits. Each bar they produce goes through a meticulous process that allows the unique flavor of different cacao origins to shine through. The San José Del Tambo, Ecuador 70% bar is crafted using cocoa beans we source directly from the farmers, plus 30% organic cane sugar—that’s it. You can expect vibrant notes of red fruit, bergamot orange, honey, jasmine, and hints of tobacco.
