Item Highlights

Quince

This fruit might look like an apple or a pear, but it’s deliciously unique. They’re hard and tart when raw, but soft and floral when cooked. Quince has a naturally high pectin content, which is why it’s so beloved for jam, marmalade, paste, and tarts, setting beautifully without much help. It also shines slowly poached or roasted, where its subtle sweetness and complexity really come through. Ours come from an heirloom orchard near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon, where our owner, Steven, has helped propagate the trees to bring their harvest to LHF for decades.

Coolea

Coolea is a distinctive Irish gouda-style cheese crafted by the Willems family in County Cork, Ireland, utilizing a Dutch approach to cheesemaking, adapted to local ingredients and conditions. Made with pasteurized cow’s milk from Holstein-Friesian herds grazing the Derrynasaggart Mountains, Coolea begins life as a smooth, buttery young cheese and evolves into a richer, denser cheese over time. As it matures beyond twelve months, it develops deep caramel and toffee notes, occasional salt-crystal crunch, and a texture reminiscent of aged Parmesan (though it remains recognizably its own cheese).

Ticklemore Cheese Dairy Beenleigh Blye

Ticklemore Cheese Dairy is a family-run dairy in Devon, England. Their milk comes from local Devon farmers, which contributes to the production of consistently high-quality cheeses. Beenleigh Blue is an exceptional blue cheese made from sheep’s milk. Its texture is rich and velvety, with threads of blue-green mould that bring gentle tang and complexity without overwhelming the palate. It has a lemony sweetness and moist, crumbly texture. It’s an approachable blue, making it excellent crumbled into salads, paired with honey or fruit, or simply enjoyed on its own with warm bread or crackers.

Diaspora Co. Nandini Coriander

Diaspora Co. is a California-based spice company founded with a mission to reshape the spice trade through ethical sourcing, regenerative farming, and direct partnerships with small growers across India and Sri Lanka. The brand focuses on fresh, single-origin spices with fair pay and transparent supply chains at the core of their work. Their Nandini Coriander is a standout variety sourced from a regenerative farm in Gujarat, where the crop was developed by third-generation farmer Dharmesh and named for the farm’s beloved cow. It offers bright, floral notes with a fresh, lemony aroma and nutty undertones that feel far more vibrant than standard coriander seeds. This coriander’s zesty character makes it ideal for curries, masalas, and dals, or grinding into fresh spice rubs and dressings. Because it’s a whole, single-origin spice that reflects careful cultivation and harvesting, it brings noticeably richer flavor and fragrance to kitchens compared with typical supermarket coriander.

Askinosie Super Dark Blend 88% Dark Chocolate

Askinosie’s Super Dark Blend is their highest cocoa content bar yet, offering a deep, bold chocolate experience without the bitterness often found in ultra-dark bars. It’s also their first-ever blend of origins! Smooth and nutty with notes of burnt caramel, this bar balances intensity with richness, making it complex and satisfying. Askinosie, known for its direct trade approach and commitment to transparency, partners closely with farmers to ensure ethical sourcing and exceptional quality. For those who love dark chocolate, this bar is a must-try.
