Item Highlights

Red Fresno Peppers

Red Fresno peppers are a vibrant chili with thin walls, bright heat, sweetness, and a slightly smoky flavor that sets them apart from the more common jalapeño. Their younger, green versions are more vegetal and mild. When mature, their skin turns a glossy red, and their heat level increases to a medium intensity. Their fruity sweetness and crisp texture make them excellent fresh in salsas, pickles, and sauces, while roasting or sautéeing deepens their flavor and softens the heat. They’re a favorite in Latin American and Southeast Asian cooking. Packed with vitamins A and C and an array of antioxidants, red Fresno peppers add both flavor and nutrition to savory menus year-round.

Ossau-Iraty

Ossau-Iraty is a traditional sheep’s milk cheese from the French Pyrenees, protected under AOC and PDO regulations. The milk comes from local Manech and Basco-Béarnaise sheep, whose seasonal grazing in mountain pastures deeply shapes the cheese’s character. This cheese has a firm yet supple texture and an amber, mold-speckled rind. It offers rich, nutty flavors with hints of toasted hazelnuts, fruit, and herbaceous mountain notes, balanced by the fat and richness of sheep’s milk. Ossau-Iraty is extremely versatile and can pair well with almost anything. Try it in a grilled cheese with a sprinkle of rosemary!

Capriole Goat Cheese Old Kentucky Tomme

Capriole Goat Cheese was founded in 1988 in Greenville, Indiana, and has grown into one of the most respected artisan cheesemakers in the United States, especially known for its innovative aged goat cheeses. Their Old Kentucky Tomme is a semi-soft aged goat’s milk cheese crafted in the style of a French tomme. It features a natural bloomy rind and a pale, smooth paste when young that softens to a shiny, creamy texture with age. Buttery and rich with mild cellar and white-mushroom notes, the flavor deepens over time with a subtle “kick” that gives the finish a lively tang. The rind darkens and becomes crustier with maturation, while the interior develops a complexity reminiscent of a classic Fontina. Old Kentucky Tomme is celebrated as one of the first aged goat cheeses made in the U.S.
