Item Highlights

Spring Shallots

Spring shallots are a seasonal treat with a milder, sweeter flavor than their fully mature counterparts. These early-harvest alliums resemble a cross between green onions and traditional shallots, with long, green tops and small purple-streaked bulbs. They’re great sliced raw into salads, sautéed with other spring vegetables, or used anywhere you’d typically reach for onions or garlic but want something a little gentler. Their fresh, delicate flavor shines in light, summery dishes. Grab them while they’re in season; they don’t stick around for long!

Fromager d’Affinois

Fromager d’Affinois is a French double-cream cheese that’s rich, buttery, and almost impossibly smooth. It looks like a classic Brie, but thanks to an ultrafiltration process, it’s even creamier and melts beautifully on the tongue. The bloomy rind is mild and edible, and the paste ripens from the outside in, becoming gooier with time. It’s an easy crowd-pleaser that’s approachable but still indulgent.

Red Storm

Snowdonia’s Red Storm is a bold, aged Red Leicester that brings a punch of flavor and a crumbly, crystalline texture. Aged for over 18 months, it develops notes of toasted nuts and caramel, with a rich depth you don’t always expect from a cheddar-style cheese. The bright red wax may catch your eye, but it’s the intensity and balance of the cheese inside that keeps you coming back. It’s great with pickles, charcuterie, or melted into a killer grilled cheese.

American Spoon Damson Plum Preserves

American Spoon has been preserving Northern Michigan’s fruit harvest since 1982, working directly with local farmers to highlight regional ingredients at their peak. Their Damson Plum Preserves are a deep, jammy spread made from intensely tart, late-summer Damson plums. Cooked slowly in copper kettles, the preserves have a thick, spoonable texture and rich, winey flavor that’s balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s a classic with toast, but also pairs beautifully with sweet blue cheeses.

Ritual Fleur de Sel 70% Dark Chocolate

Ritual’s Fleur de Sel bar is a great example of how something simple can still feel special. Made with their signature Mid Mountain blend, it’s finished with a light sprinkle of French sea salt, harvested from centuries-old salt flats. The salt crystals add texture and a pop of brightness that brings the chocolate’s layered flavors into sharper focus. Based in Utah, Ritual makes all of their bars bean-to-bar in small batches, with a focus on sustainable sourcing and careful craftsmanship. This one’s a go-to for anyone who likes a little contrast in their chocolate.
