Mixed Summer Squash
Summer squash are vegetables with thick rinds that can be eaten and are normally green or yellow, depending on their variety. They can be cylindrical or more round shaped and include varieties such as Gold/Green Zucchini, Sunburst, Middle Eastern, etc. Summer squash has a mild, slightly sweet, grassy flavor and a faint bitterness at the skin. These are perfect for salads, breads, in place of noodles, or with a dip or hummus!
Farmdal Young Gouda
From West Flanders, Belgium this cheese was aged for 6-8 weeks and made from pasteurized cow’s milk. Rennet is vegetarian as well. From the creators of the super popular OG Kristal, comes a smother, younger take on Belgian Gouda. In the eight-week old version, the Deweers produced a young Gouda that isn’t just about being smooth and creamy, but also has a more complex profile, with notes of vanilla and sweet cream abound. Notes of sweet cream and vanilla finish with just a bit of bite in this creamy, fresher Gouda.
